What to Expect

Making an Appointment

Sessions are by appointment only.

All intake and therapy sessions typically last 50-55 minutes, and therapy appointments are made on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis depending on the needs of the individual client.

Please call in order to set up an initial assessment appointment and to receive a brief consultation by phone. Our staff can be reached at (770) 703-4726. Confidential voice mail is available, so please leave a number where you would like to be reached.

All calls are attempted to be returned the same business day in most cases, but always within 24 hours.

Our Rates

Initial intake appointments are $220 per session.

Follow-up therapy sessions are $210 per session.

Educational and developmental evaluations carry their own unique fee structure and fees are determined at the time of the initial intake, depending on the nature of the testing and the length of time to complete the assessment, as well as the types of testing instruments that will be used in the comprehensive evaluation.

Insurance and Payments

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Our staff participates in a number of insurance networks. Please check your coverage carefully to ensure the inclusion of mental health benefits, your deductible and/or copayment amount, number of sessions allowed per year, if pre-authorization is required, and to see if a referral is required from your primary care physician.  If services can be filed by our office for insurance reimbursement, so long as your therapist is a participating network provider, we will file the claim for payment on your behalf.  All deductibles, copayments, and/or coinsurance amounts are due at the time the service is rendered.

In some circumstances, it may be best not to file an insurance claim to avoid a record of a diagnosis. Please ask about this.  Some sliding scale arrangements may be possible.

Payments may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card.
